Who am I? I am an experienced corporate counsel with a passion for  legal technology, corporate law, and commercial contracts.

I am an experienced in-house corporate counsel as well as a highly entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, and collaborative legal technology and innovation advocate. I am learning to program as well (R and Python) and love talking to people and learning about places at the forefront of legal technology and legal innovation. I write a blog (https://colinslevy.com/) featuring interviews with leaders in the legal technology and legal innovation space and have been featured on the LAWsome podcast (https://www.consultwebs.com/lawsomepodcast/ep13-colin-levy/).

Being inquisitive, analytical, and driven allow me to leverage my strong legal skills well as my robust business acumen to minimize risk and to drive results. My inquisitive and tenacious nature allows me to not only better understand the particular risks involved in a certain legal matter or when learning about a new legal technology, but also to better understand why certain risks exist and the ways in which certain risks may be more acceptable than others in a particular scenario.

Each day I get presented with new challenges. These challenges that can range from learning to code to managing the contractual process from cradle to grave. Each challenge that I am faced with requires me to draw upon different principles and to apply them in unique ways.

The constant opportunities to apply my knowledge and to increase my knowledge is incredibly rewarding both personally and professionally, is something that I look forward to each day, and remind me of why I love being a lawyer as well as legal technology and innovation.
